These drawings find their origin in the endless and bumpy bus rides I did in China and Tibet. Trying to write I wound up making drawings of oscillating lines. In the end it was the bus rather me that made (very lifelike) drawings of the surrounding landscapes. Landscapes that were registered on top of whitewashed local postcards, their paint flaking due to the hardships of travelling.
